Store Front Signage


BRIEF: The company was owned by a fashion designer and a textile merchandizer. They belonged to a family where their grandfather was a well known weaver in the village he grew up in. Since they wanted to carry on weaving tradition through the apparel boutique, one of their main criteria was that the brand mark should resonate with their grandfather's history in some way. Spools are common tool in a weaver's world. I used this as a visual metaphor and hand wrote the name of the company around an invisible spool. The negative spaces of the word 'Inspira' forms the shape of the spool.
