Designer/Artist

I have been interested in the arts from an early age, and my family helped me make my first exploration into painting and dance. I bring five years of print design experience with me, and the solid background of a double bachelors degree in Graphic Design and Art; from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in Visual Communications and the other in History of Fine Arts, Drawing and Painting from Stella Maris College – University of Madras, India respectively.

I started my career in design interning at Edelman Worldwide in Chicago and worked my way up as a Desktop publisher at Minuteman Press in Atlanta, a junior designer at Jordan, Jones & Goulding and a Graphic Designer at USMotivation and Centraarchy. I currently reside in Chennai, India and work as a freelancer for clients in the US and here.

Clients have described me as a passionate designer who is quick to understand their demanding needs and always strives to provide them with fun, new and brilliant designs while consistently meeting quality with their deadlines.

When it comes to design, I believe that expressing yourself with brevity speaks volumes over long-winded ideas. Color is my friend, and I love to play with it. I am especially passionate about typography both as a medium of expression and as an enhancement to a good design piece. I'm inspired by the work of many designers of different disciplines, and am always on the watch for pieces that encourage me to go the distance with my own work.

My other interests include dance, music, friends, good food and anything that screams fun. I love the outdoors and the freedom of spirit that it brings to my life. That's just the start of who I am. If you'd like to know more, you can get in touch with me through the details on my contact page.
